Participants spread light of literary knowledge and artistic talent

 Lucknow, February 6 : Today, on the second day of the five-day literary and cultural festival 'Euphoria-2021' being organized online by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, students from Russia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sharjah, Kuwait and various states of India displayed their creative knowledge and artistic talents through participation in debate, painting, quiz, poetry recitation and speech competitions and showed that the future generation is eager to create an ideal world order. The 21st century is a century of change and in the present era, children all over the world want to know and learn new things, and such competitions are the only means for developing world brotherhood and human qualities.

            The competitions under Euphoria-2021 began with Geetanjali (recitation) today. In this competition, the students of senior classes demonstrated their creative thinking and global outlook with automated poems, leaving an unprecedented impression of literary talent and knowledge. In another competition organized for the senior students, Madhubani Musings (Madhubani Painting), unprecedented talent of the students came to the fore. The participating students' great skills and understanding were evident in their creations in this competition. The art forms created by the participating students were judged on the basis of their creativity, neatness, originality and presentation.

            The Wordsmith competition organized for primary and junior students was equally interesting. The students' knowledge and expression as displayed through their participation in this online competition was worth watching. Six students got the opportunity to display their talent in the final round after qualifying the preliminary round of the contest. The participants' quick responses to questions based on Fairy Tales – characters, dialogues and visuals, jumbled words and one word for phrases, mesmerized the audience.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma said that this international festival is creating a spirit of unity among the students with great creativity and is realizing the dream of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam. Mr. Sharma informed that the competitions will continue tomorrow. The competitions to be held tomorrow, 7 February, are the opening round of the Booking Designing, Samudra Manthan (Business Presentation), Melenge and Tenali's Prashnavali (Quiz), in which participating students from India and abroad will showcase their talents in a healthy competition.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
