Vice-President Mr Venkaiah Naidu honours CMS student

Lucknow, 11 August : Anahita Singh, a meritorious class XI student of Cambridge Section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II, for her par excellence academic performance, received honour from Vice-President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu. Anahita is the only student from Uttar Pradesh under her grade, who has won Times Spark Scholarship. At a recently held e-ceremony, the  Vice-Presient Shri Venkaiah Naidu felicitated this outstanding student of CMS while the organizers of the event awarded her a Dell laptop. CMS President, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed profound happiness for her success and congratulating her wished her success for all future endeavours.

               Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, informed that Anahita underwent six practice tests, two powerpoint presentations, final online test and two rounds of viva for winning this scholarship. A very bright student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Cambridge Section, the only secondary school in Lucknow that is affiliated with International Examination Board (CAIE), Anahita is the Head girl of the school, the editor of the student magazine 'The Bridge', president of the Book Club and an active participant of the Debating Club in her school.  CMS is committed to encourage its students to excel in learning and keeps them updated with current affairs involving society, environment and global issues to make them ideal citizens of the society, said Mr Sharma.
