Another CMS student secures All India Rank 1 scoring 99.75% marks in ISC Board exam after scrutiny

 

Lucknow, 19 August : Sandhiyika Srivastava, a brilliant student of CMS Mahanagar Campus has scored the highest percentage of 99.75 marks in English + best 3 subjects in ISC 2020 Board Exam after scrutiny of her marks in Chemistry subject. Sandhiyika Srivastava secured marks 100 each in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physical Education and 99 in English. She had earlier got 98 marks in Chemistry which upon scrutiny was corrected to 100 marks by the ISC Board, that raised her percentage to 99.75 in English + best 3 subjects. CMS President Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon,  congratulating Sandhiyika for her unprecedented success, said that CMS is committed to holistic development and academic excellence of its students. Prof Kingdon has extended her heartfelt gratitude to Dr Kalpana Tripathi, the Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus and the brilliant teachers thereof. Earlier, Sumit Tripathi of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus 1 had scored 99.75% marks, topping the national chart in the recently declared ISC 2020 results.

               Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that  Sandhiyika was jubilant to know that she has secured All India Rank 1 in the ISC 2020 exam after the increase in her Chemistry marks. She will be awarded another cheque of Rs 1 lakh in an online ceremony by the school management for her remarkable achievement. Sandhiyika had already been awarded with Rs 1 lakh by the school for securing All India Rank 3 with 99.25% marks which has now improved to All India Rank 1.

               Mr Sharma informed that this year a record number of 25 CMS geniuses scored 99 to 99.75 percent marks in ISC and ICSE board examinations and they all were awarded by CMS with a cash prize of Rs 26 lakh. This amount will be now 27 lakh as Sandhiyika will be given another one lakh rupees. It is noteworthy to mention that a whopping number of 3397 students achieved 90% and above marks in the ISC and ICSE 2020 examinations from CMS this year.
