CMS girl MajorShweta Pandey does major role in flag hoisting ceremony of PM Modi on Independence Day

 Lucknow, 16 August : Major Shweta Pandey, an alumna of City Montessori School, on the occasion of 74th Independence Day had a special role at the flag hoisting ceremony of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the historic Red Fort, bringing glory to the institution, Lucknow and the state. CMS President, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that the entire CMS family feels proud and happy for the glorious performance of its student. Moreover, earlier in the month of June Major Shweta Pandey, at the Victory Day Parade in Russia, had led all the three troops of Indian army pinning fame of India on world map.

               Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, informed that Independence Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and fanfare at all the 18 campuses of CMS. Special celebration of held at the CMS Head Office. Shri S K Verma, the Office Secretary of CMS Head Office, unfurled the national flag at CMS Head Office amidst the presence of Mr Nitin Saxena, Head, Human Resource Department of CMS, Mr Talal Mojaddidi, Head, Transport Department CMS. Flag hoisting function was followed by online function. Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, CMS President congratulated all CMS teachers and workers for Independence Day and said that as teachers we are responsible to nurture the young generation as ideal citizens of the society inculcating in them  societal awareness with values to conserve environment, water and energy.

            Mr Sharma said that the Principals of all CMS campuses hoisted flags at their respective campuses and skit, dance and singing, antakshari, speech, debate, fancy dress and many more cultural events were held online at all campuses, enthusiastically participated by students. CMS teaches its students sentiments for national and global concerns whereas CMS teachers are doing it sincerely, said Mr Sharma
