CMS student to be awarded two lakh rupees as cash prize

 

Lucknow, 23 August : Sandhiyika Srivastava, a meritorious student of CMS Mahanagar Campus will be awarded with a cash prize of  two lakh rupees for being at the top rank nationally in the ISC (Class XII) Board Examination this year and fetching  glory to the institution by her academic excellence. After the scrutiny her score became 99.75%, counting her marks in English plus best three subjects in the ISC (Class XII) Board Examination. On scrutiny, she secured 100 marks in Chemistry which was 98 earlier. Thus, she got Chemistry - 100, Maths - 100, Physical Education - 100 and English – 99, making her total percentage to whopping 99.75.

              Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that when the ISC and ICSE Board Results were declared in July 2020, Sandhiyika had got 99.25% marks which after scrutiny turned out to be 99.75% and she became a national topper with another CMS student, Sumit Tripathi (99.75%). Mr Sharma further stated that this year all 25 best scorers of CMS who secured 99 to 99.75% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Examinations were given one lakh rupees each for their achievement whereas the national topper was honoured with two lakh rupees. Sandhiyika of CMS Mahanagar Campus was also awarded one lakh rupees and now she will be awarded another one lakh rupees for becoming the national topper. CMS has given to its meritorious students, a cash prize of Rs 27 lakh.
