Lucknow, July 5: Celebrating the ongoing
Van Mahotsav Week, students of City Montessori Rajendra Nagar Campus II took
out a huge Rally this morning to arouse the consciousness of the children,
youth and adults regarding the earth and its environment. The students called
upon the public to use their maximum energy and resources for the service of
Mother Earth so that our planet blooms with greenery and life including various
species of flora and fauna. All sections of society must come together in this
Green Revolution and contribute their bit to making the earth a safe and happy
place for the present and future generations. The children made huge posters
and raised slogans with banners on environmental protection and conservation of
the earth and its resources. Some of the slogans raised by students were

Plastic Bags', 'Join the Green Revolution', etc. They then took a pledge to
work in this direction and planted saplings at the Jai Jagat Park adjoining the
School They specially planted trees which would bear sweet smelling flowers and
delicious fruit for both birds and animals.
