12 CMS students selected in IAS and PCS honoured

Lucknow, 7 July : As many as 12 outstanding students of City Montessori School, Lucknow have earned the distinction of being selected in the most coveted Civil Services of the country- the IAS and the PCS this year, thus adding a new feather in the cap of the institution and bringing name and fame to the city of Lucknow at national level. These 12 CMS stars were duly honoured at a special CMS function by the Commissioner, Lucknow Division, Dr Roshan Jacob, IAS. Among those who were honoured, seven were for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) while five students belonged to the Provincial Civil Services (PCS).  The 7 IAS selections include the following: Mannan Agarwal, Anuja Trivedi, Aditya Srivastava, Amit Gupta, Rajat Singh, Sakshi Mohan and Anushri Sachan while those selected in PCS comprise Ankur Gautam, Kaustubh Tripathi, Shubham Verma, Shambhavi Tripathi, and Yuktisha Rajput. All these selected students have given credit for their success to the peaceful and harmonious educational environment that prevails in CMS and the inspirational quality of the institution and its Founders.

               Addressing the august gathering on this occasion, Ms Roshan Jacob said that serving the nation through the civil services was a great responsibility and commitment and she has full faith in the abilities of these outstanding pupils educated in CMS under experienced and committed teachers. Praising CMS and its Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi  and Dr Bharti Gandhi, for encouraging the all-round talent ofCMS and instilling good moral virtues in children, she said that it would behove other students to follow in their footsteps and make the earth richer with their manifold accomplishments. On this occasion, the CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed the hope that these shining stars of CMS will prove to be the best administrators of India as they carried human values with them taught at CMS and further they are ambassadors of peace and unity in the world. The whole nation and the CMS Family is justly proud of these shining gems of CMS and wishes them all the very best in life.
