CMS swimmers steal the limelight with 31 medals in Zonal Contest

Lucknow, 8 July : Swimming team of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I brought laurels to the institution by winning overall tally of 31 medals, comprising 7 Golds, 8 Silvers and 16 Bronze Medals at a Zonal level Swimming Competition. The competition was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished a bright future for these upcoming talents. This information was given by Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma stated that the students of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I namely Agrim Yash, Krishna Pandey and Ali Zehra won two gold medals each in this competition while Gauri Singh won a gold in 100m freestyle. Silver and bronze medalists included Sundaram Singh, Nityam Singh, Yana Rajput, Nisharg Singh, Idhaant Srivastava, Shubhi Sonkar, Artika Srivastava, Utkarsh Singh and Vanshika Chandra. Mr Sharma further stated that the best swimmers from noted schools of Lucknow zone participated in this competition and amidst tough competition, CMS came on top displaying tremendous skill and stamina and bagging the maximum of 31 medals.

               Mr Sharma further informed that CMS students are creating new milestones in the field of games and sports besides academics at national and international level. The school trains its students in various games and sports through rigorous practice by expert coaches at all CMS campuses.
