District Magistrate honours ISC and ICSE All India Rank holders of CMS

Lucknow, July 24 : District Magistrate of Lucknow, Mr Suryapal Gangwar, IAS, awarded prize cheques and honoured 12 outstanding students of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I at a Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Function held on the Campus premises. These brilliant students had set a new record in the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations this year, securing 99% and above marks and notching top ranks on the All India Merit List. They were awarded prize cheques of Rs one lakh each for their marvellous achievement which brought laurels to the city of Lucknow in the whole country. The students who were honoured and given cash prizes included Anukriti Dinesh Rai, Shivang Kumar Shukla, Soham Tripathi, Nakshatra Singh, Praharsh Chaturvedi, Rashika Srivastava, Aashi Tripathi, Ayesha Khan, Abhideep Shikhar, Aaditya Yadav, Aaryashi Tripathi and Ishika Singh. The main highlight of the function was the honouring of the mothers of the topper students by weighing them in fruits and flowers and the presentation of Shawls of Honour to the fathers and teacher-guardians of the awardees.

            Earlier, Shri Gangwar formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp of learning. In his address, Shri Gangwar said that this celebration has an added meaning to it because the students honoured here are a source of great inspiration for their juniors. Showering praise on the meritorious students, he said that this is just the beginning and that they had a long and bright career ahead of them. He commended the institution which had given birth to such bright scholars whose achievements were like a beacon of light for the whole world. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated the students and said that the outstanding results were the result of patient study and hard work bringing joy and  pride in our hearts. On this occasion, the students of the Campus presented heartwarming cultural itms creating a rainbow coloured world unity in diversity. At the end of the function, the Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant expressed her gratitude towards one and all present.
