155 member CMS students' delegation leaves for Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on educational excursion

Lucknow, May 29 : A delegation of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus comprising 155-member including 141 students and 14 teachers left here today for a six-day educational excursion to Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The student team is being led by Senior teacher Ms Sadaf Khan and teacher, Mr Vinay Kumar Singh, as the deputy leader. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that during this educational tour, CMS students will get a first hand experience of the vastness and beauty of the most picturesque locations of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh besides visiting historical and scenic landmarks like Manu temple, Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and many others. This trip will be helpful in increasing the knowledge and personality development of the students besides bringing them face to face with the unity in diversity in India. The delegation will return to Lucknow on 3rd June.

        Mr Sharma informed that City Montessori School often sends its students on excursion to various parts of India and abroad especially during the vacations. These excursions are meant to enhance their general awareness, healthy entertainment and develop their global outlook. Mr Sharma said that modern advanced technologies have made the world a global village, thus it has become the need of the hour to make them aware of different cultures, traditions and diverse thoughts.
