Mini Sports Day of CMS Asharfabad Campus held

Lucknow, 28 March : The 'Mini Sports Day Celebration' of City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus was held with great pomp and show on the sports ground of the school. On this occasion, students of pre-primary and primary mesmerized the audience by displaying their extraordinary sporting skills and spread the message of 'India Fit & Young' through physical fitness activities. The Sports Day commenced with an All Religion and World Unity Prayer. A stiff competition was seen amongst the participants to score medals in various sports competitions and the students gave their best showcasing their strength, stamina, and talent. Students displayed their agility and sporting talents in various types of races viz Hurdles Race, Back Pack Race, Rockstar Race, Relay Race, Word Builder Race and many other interesting games. Parents and guardians of the children also participated in the sports event with great enthusiasm.

               Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus, Mrs Trapti Dwivedi said that such sporting events are necessary for physical and intellectual development of students. Therefore, such events promote cooperation, boost self-confidence and inspire the students to give their best performance.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
