CMS Meritorious Students Felicitated

Lucknow, March 6 : City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus felicitated its meritorious students at the ‘Divine Education Conference’ organized at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. The students looked overjoyed and excited as they were honoured with citations and medals before a large audience of parents and teachers. The students from Pre-Primary and Primary classes, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual examinations were awarded prizes at the function.

            The honouring ceremony was organized as Divine Education Conference by CMS Indira Nagar Campus. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. He awarded prizes to the meritorious students and wished them a bright future ahead. Addressing the gathering, Dr Gandhi said that education must be a catalyst in both the individual as well as the social development of a person. Meaningful education encourages the child to develop creatively in both personal and social spheres. The aim of education is to reveal the latent talents of children and enable them to contribute for the progress of mankind.

            On this occasion, students of CMS Indira Nagar Campus presented several educational and cultural items. Through the presentation of a World Parliament, they demonstrated their knowledge of global affairs and how to handle global problems peacefully and confidently. They spread the message of World Unity and World Peace through World Unity and All Religion Prayer. Besides, the wonderful presentations of qawwali, dada-dadi song, action song, mother's song, Holi dance etc. were appreciated by one and all. The event was successful in bringing the parents  and school on a common platform.
