CMS felicitates its meritorious students

Lucknow, March 31 : City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II felicitated its meritorious students with awards at the ‘Divine Education Conference’ organized at CMS Gomti Nagar auditorium. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi awarded prizes to the meritorious students and wished them a very bright future. The students, who had won prizes in various national and international competitions, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the Annual Examinations were felicitated on stage.

             CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that education must be a catalyst in both academic and spiritual development of a person. Meaningful education encourages the child to develop creatively in both personal and social spheres. To bring about a positive change in society, education needs to be associated with social development, he added. On this occasion, students presented a series of educational-cultural items like School Prayer, All Religion Prayer, World Peace Prayer, Yoga, Dance and Songs, Choir, Qawwali, Dada-Dadi song etc. displaying their hidden talents. At the end of the function, Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus II, Mrs Samvida Adhikari expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards parents and guardians.
