CMS students team leaves for Japan for a Science Exchange Programme

Lucknow, 5 March : A 12-member students' delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus left for Japan on a fully funded trip to participate in 'Sakura Science Exchange Programme'. Before leaving for Japan, the delegates were given a warm sendoff at Chaudhary Charan Singh airport by their parents and teachers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that the Science Exchange Programme is fully funded by the Japanese government institution 'Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST)' including air travel, food, board and lodging as well as sightseeing in Japan. Students of almost 30 countries of the world are participating in this exchange programme. The delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II comprise Shashank Ranjan, Anurag Singh, Yash Nehra, Atharv Mohan, Shivendra Pratap Singh, Samarth Raghuvanshi, Avi Mishra, Subha Shukla, Shivansh Maurya, Manas Saxena and Eshan Srivastava. Ms Triguna Singh, teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II is the leader of the CMS delegation.

               Mr Sharma further stated that during this visit, CMS students will be visiting the best universities and Research Institutes of Japan, attend lectures on the latest advancement in science and technology and witness hands-on experiments by top scientists. Mr Sharma expressed belief that this educational trip will be helpful in developing students' interest towards science and preparing the future scientists at the international level.
