CMS student wins first prize in drawing competition


 

Lucknow, April 19 : Akriti Samyak, a very talented student of Class IX of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I has brought laurels to the school by winning the first prize in an Inter-school Drawing Competition. A large number of students from various prestigious schools of Lucknow had participated in this competition organized by the Lucknow Development Authority. This talented student of CMS participated in the junior category of age group 12 - 18 and called for women empowerment with a strong display of her creativity and artistic abilities with the help of colours and brush. Through her first prize winning piece of art Akriti conveyed the message that there is a need to educate each girl child as all-round education is the powerful medium of creative change in society. The organizers profusely appreciated Akriti for the creativity and presented her with a trophy, citation and attractive gifts.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that by encouraging students to take part in such competitions, CMS is constantly engaged in nurturing their multifaceted talents and motivating them to do well in life. CMS aims at providing such education to its students that prepares them as world leaders capable of leading the world with their developed human vision. As a result of this unique education system, the students of the school are bringing laurels to the school by winning prizes in various contests at national and international levels.
