CMS student felicitated for outstanding display of talent in National drawing competition

 Lucknow, April 22: Abhishree Asthana, very talented class VI student at City Montessori School, RDSO Campus has brought laurels to the city of Lucknow with her outstanding display of talent in the national level drawing and painting competition organized under the aegis of the National Bureau of Fish Genetics. She has been presented a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 1500/- for this achievement. Chief public Relations officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that large number of students from several prestigious schools of the country had participated in this competition organized at all India level on the topic 'national unity'. Amid tough competition, this talented CMS student gave a message of unity, peace and harmony to the whole country through her artwork presenting an impressive example of her creative thinking. The jury was highly impressed with Abhishree's artwork.

            Mr Sharma further stated that CMS always motivates its students to move ahead and count paces with life by participating in all kinds of competitions and chisel their skills in varied areas. This is one reason CMS students earn national and international prizes in various competitions and bring glory to the institution.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
