City boy secures admission in Deakin University, Australia with US$ 1,37,600 scholarship

Lucknow, April 5 : Prabal Agarwal, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II has been offered admission with a scholarship of US$ 1,37,600 by the prestigious Deakin University of Australia for pursuing degree in Computer Science there. This scholarship has been offered to him for the entire study period of four years. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that many other noted universities of Australia, USA, UK and Ireland including, Australia's Swinburne University of Technology; USA's University of Cincinnati and Muhlenberg College; UK's Queen's University Belfast, University of East London, University of Bristol, University of Greenwich and Ireland's Dundalk Institute of Technology, have also offered him admission with scholarships. Thus, another meritorious CMS student has brought fame to the City of Lucknow having received admission offers with scholarships from highly ranked universities abroad on the basis of his excellent academic record, hard work and talents.

            Mr Sharma informed that each year more than 100 CMS students are offered admissions in the top universities of the world.  This year already, over 45 CMS students have been offered admissions in the top universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., most of them on scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to find a SAT exam center.
