Lucknow boy completes PhD from Stanford University, USA


 Lucknow, 5 March : Rahul Trivedi, a former student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus and an IIT Delhi topper completed his Stanford University PhD Defense successfully on the topic, 'Scattering Models for design and analysis of quantum hardware'.  Son of senior IAS officer Mr Prashant Trivedi and UNICEF executive Mrs. Geetali Trivedi, Rahul did his schooling from CMS Gomti Nagar Campus and as per Principal, Abha Anant, he was a veritable prodigy in Physics.

            Rahul completed his B.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 2016 and went on to do his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Rahul was a Gold Medalist at the 18th Asian Physics Olympiad, India and a Gold Medalist at the 42nd International Physics Olympiad, Estonia while in his class 12th at CMS.

            At Stanford he held the generous Thomas and Sarah Kailath Stanford Graduate Fellowship since 2016.  Some of his research has already been published in peer reviewed international journals and also been cited in high-impact-factor academic journals of Physics.
