CMS student selected for higher education at Miami University as Presidential Fellow

Lucknow, March 23 : Meritorious student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I and National Topper of the ISC Board Examination 2020, Sumit Kumar Tripathi has achieved yet another historic feat by being selected for admission to the highly prestigious Miami University of USA for higher education as a 'Presidential Fellow'. This outstanding student of CMS has thus brought fame to the city of Lucknow by the virtue of his passion, talent, and academic excellence. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that only 15 students were selected out of a total of 3500 students from all over the world for the Presidential Fellowship after several rounds of interviews and written exams. Sumit Kumar Tripathi of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I is one of these. As a Presidential Fellow, Sumit will be awarded 100% scholarship during the higher education period of four years, which includes the tuition fees as well as the boarding charges. Besides, he will also be provided with an Academic Enrichment Fund of US$ 5000. 'Presidential Fellowship' which is a unique educational programme for higher education at Miami University is awarded to the students with the best academic performance. Mr Sharma informed that Sumit has also secured an offer for higher education with 100% scholarship from the Hong Kong's University of Hong Kong. Besides, he has been also invited for admission by the University of Sydney, Australia.

            Mr Sharma informed that the Founder of CMS and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed great happiness over this historic achievement of Sumit and said that apart from imparting the best of education to all its students, CMS provides them opportunities for acquiring higher education in the best universities abroad. Dr Gandhi also congratulated and thanked the learned and dedicated teachers of the school, whose hard work, guidance and encouragement have helped the students of the school to touch new heights in the world of education.

            Mr Sharma informed that each year more than 100 CMS students are offered admissions in the top universities of the world. This year already, over 45 CMS students have been offered admissions in the top universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., most of them on scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to find a SAT exam center.
