CMS student awarded Rs 11,000/- cash prize for best classical dance presentation


 Lucknow, March 8 : Kopal Sinha, a talented student of class VIII at City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I was presented a cash prize of Rs. 11,000/- for her debut performance of Bharatnatyam as a professional artist at the Maagh Mela 2021. District Magistrate of Farukkhabad, Mr Manvendra singh presented a citation, a memento and the cash prize to Kopal and blessed her for her outstanding talent. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that this was Kopal's debut performance as a professional dancer wherein she mesmerized the audience with her dancing talent and left a unique impression with her soulful dance presentation. Kopal has a deep interest in music and dance and she wants to perform at national and international levels.

            Mr Sharma informed that in addition to providing physical, social and spiritual education to its students, CMS also arouses interest of the students in their culture and encourages them to learn various art forms. It is due to these efforts that besides performing well in academics, CMS students bring laurels to the institution with their excellence in the fields of music, dance, literature and arts.
