International Cultural Olympiad Celesta International-2020 concludes


 Lucknow, 18 October : Four-day International Cultural Olympiad 'Celesta International-2020', organized online by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, concluded with the commitment to spread the spirit of unity and peace across the globe. A grand Prize Distribution cum Closing Ceremony was held online wherein the prize-winning students of various competitions were announced amidst wonderful presentations of educational-cultural items by the school students. In Jingle contest, Mrinal Sahai of CMS Kanpur Road won the first prize whereas the first prize of Stand Up Comedy competition went to Saksham Jain of Montfort Sr. Secondary School, New Delhi. Similarly,  Aleena Bharti of Sir Padampat Singhania School, Kota, Rajasthan won the first prize in  Solo Singing competition; Bhavya Gupta of Montfort Sr. Secondary School, New Delhi won the first prize in  Celesta Got Talent competition; Yashwardhan Bhadauria of CMS Kanpur Road won the first prize in  Poetry Recitation competition; Sunaina Pal of ODM Public School, Odisha won the first prize in  Free Style/ Hip Hop Dancing competition; Aditi Ambey of Sunbeam Suncity School & Hostel UP won the first prize in  Traditional Folk Dance contest; Anuj Chauhan of Sir Padampat Singhania School, Kota, Rajasthan won the first prize in Instrumental Music contest and Hardik Chaturvedi of Sir Padampat Singhania School, Kota, Rajasthan won the first prize in Mask Designing competition. It is worth mentioning here that CMS Aliganj Campus I had organized ‘Celesta International-2020’ from 14 to 17 October.

            Addressing the gathering on this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that music is the backbone of our culture. Ancient Indian music is full of divine power and promotes the philosophy of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam. It has the power to bind the entire humanity in a common cord of world unity. He emphasized that the flow of unity which has begun with music must not stop and it should disseminate love and peace in the whole world. The efforts of CMS to unite the world through a musical fiesta - Celesta, is bringing a revolution today, so that the coming generation can breathe in a united and peaceful world society.

            Mrs Jyoti Kashyap, Senior Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus I and Convener of ‘Celesta International 2020,’ welcomed the august gathering and said that this International Olympiad is convened with the objective to do holistic development of students. She expressed hope that in next Celesta, young artists of India and abroad will participate in even larger numbers and inspire other students also with their skills and talents.
