Talents outpour at Excelencia organised by CMS Gomti Nagar Extn Cambridge Section

Lucknow, August 7 : The Cambridge International Section at City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension organised their inaugural Cambridge inter-school event, Excelencia, today with great enthusiasm and fanfare. The event designed to nurture the core Cambridge learner attributes – reflection, confidence, innovation, responsibility, and engagement – offered a diverse range of competitions. It may be mentioned that Cambridge International curriculum classes are being conducted in five campuses of CMS. Cambridge's unique curriculum and teaching methodology enable students to achieve high success at the global level.

             Participants from all five CMS Cambridge Campuses namely, Gomti Nagar Extension, Gomti Nagar Campus I, Rajajipuram Campus I, Aliganj Campus I and Golf City Campus, participated in the competitions including Cambridge Canvas, Penalty shootout, shuttle strike, mathematical hopscotch, Mystery Masters, Cambridge anthem, secondary science research and culinary clash.

             From the creative canvas to the athletic field, from the digital domain to the culinary arts, students showcased their talents across the board. The thrill of penalty shootouts, the challenge of mathematical puzzles, the intrigue of mystery-solving, and the artistry of costume design kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

             The programme started with the welcome address by CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Cambridge Coordinator Ms Maseerah Arif. Esteemed guests, Ms Sushama Rajkumar, Dean, CMS Cambridge and and Ms Vera Hajela, Incharge, Spoken English, CMS Alumni and Debating and Literary Societies, CMS, showered the students and teachers with praise for their exceptional efforts. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the senior principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension, Ms Manjit Batra. Ms Sneha Dwivedi was the Secretary of the event.
