Grand Celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami at CMS

Lucknow, August 24: The sacred festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and grandeur at City Montessori School, Asharfabad branch. The various programs organized on this occasion not only highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival but also provided a platform for the students and their mothers to showcase their exceptional talents. This information was shared by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head of the Communication Department at City Montessori School. Mr Khanna further said that the event began with a heartfelt prayer by the young children, filling the entire atmosphere with spiritual energy. Following this, the primary class students presented a captivating rendition of melodious bhajans, and the students of Class 1 enacted a delightful play based on the birth of Lord Krishna, depicting eternal values such as compassion, love, and the triumph of good over evil. To make the play even more vibrant, the students also performed a dance based on Krishna Leela, dressed in colorful costumes.

Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head of the Communication Department at CMS, further informed that to make the celebration even more special, various interesting competitions were organized for the students' mothers. The highlight of the event was the 'DahiHandi' celebration, where the junior section students displayed their agility and team spirit with traditional zeal. At the conclusion of the program, Principal Mrs. AnupamaChekker blessed the students for their hard work and dedication and expressed special gratitude towards the mothers, whose cooperation made this celebration unique and unforgettable.
