All 21 CMS Campuses celebrateIndependence Day with great joy and enthusiasm

Lucknow, August 16 : The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm across all 21 campuses of City Montessori School. The main ceremony was held at the CMS Headquarters, where CMS Founder-Director, Dr. Bharti Gandhi hoisted the national flag in the presence of a large number of staff members. The event was graced by the presence of CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, World Government supporter Shri Vishwatma, Shri Vinay Gandhi, Smt. Mona Gandhi and various other officials of the school. During the ceremony, Dr. Bharti Gandhi paid homage to the great freedom fighters who made supreme sacrifices during the freedom struggle and inspired the students, teachers, and staff of CMS to cultivate true devotion and dedication towards the nation. Prior to this, CMS staff members created an atmosphere of patriotism by singing patriotic songs.

            On this occasion, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon extended her greetings on Independence Day and emphasized that this freedom was achieved after great struggle. She urged everyone to understand its significance and to educate future generations about it. Highlighting the important role of teachers in nation-building, Prof. Kingdon further stated that we should resolve to contribute our best efforts towards taking our country to greater heights. Several other speakers also ignited the spirit of patriotism with their insightful addresses.

            CMS Public Relations Officer, Mr Rishi Khanna informed that the principals of all 21 CMS Campuses hoisted the national flag at their respective campuses. Patriotic cultural-educational programs were organized at all campuses, during which students expressed their commitment to the continuous development of the nation through various programs such as skits, dances, music, quizzes, speeches, debates and many more.
