Luvina Ramchandani of CMS honoured in International Essay Contest



 Lucknow, 3 July : Luvina Ramchandani, an outstanding student of Grade XII at the Cambridge section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, has been honoured at international level for her excellent writing skills and creative vision depicted in her essay writing. Luvina’s genius found expression in the Cambridge Re-think Essay Competition-2024 organized under the aegis of Cambridge Centre for International Research. Luvina’s essay on “Beyond Climate Change: Saving the future,” presented a roadmap for an ideal New World Order and also suggested a visionary and practical approach to solving global problems like environmental degradation which were assessed for Round 4 by experts from the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, Stanford University, MIT and other Ivy League Universities and then included in the list among the best entries to be honoured and awarded. Expressing her profound happiness at Luvina’s achievement, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that writing skills are a great asset for a student and coupled with visionary ideas, it was the perfect combination for a great leader and thinker. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further stated that Luvina’s achievement was all the more worthy of high praise as she cut across stiff competition from over 4200 students from 50 countries of the world and emerged a true winner. Her writing was hailed as powerful, lucid and convincing by the experts who assessed it. It reflected her global thinking and understanding as well as her scientific and practical approach to problems which led to her being honoured at international level.

            Mr Khanna informed that CMS students are not just excelling in academics, but they are also making their mark in other extra-curricular fields, bringing fame to the institution. This is solely because of holistic education imparted in CMS, which includes, besides high quality Material education, developing their skills in Human and Divine education also.
