US university offers US$ 80,000 scholarship to CMS student for higher studies
Lucknow, May 14 : Anshika Singh, a student of City Montessori
School, Kanpur Road Campus, has been offered a scholarship of US$ 80,000 by
University of Arizona, USA, to pursue higher studies there. She will be
receiving this scholarship during the four-year undergraduate course. Anshika
has credited this success to her teachers at CMS and the educational
environment in the school. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon,
congratulated this meritorious student and wished her all success for the
future. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public
Relations Officer of CMS. Mr
Sharma stated that CMS is also a SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test
centre, which enables students of UP and the neighbouring states to apply for
higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr Sharma further informed that each
year, a large number of CMS students receive admission offers from top
universities in the world including Ivy League universities. This year, uptil
now, over 80 CMS students have secured admissions on handsome scholarships in
some of the best universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore,
and Germany like Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology
(CalTech), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University,
Cornell University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore and
others.
