Teachers take out Character Building March
Lucknow, May 10 : To mark the end of this academic session, a
grand thanksgiving function was organized for CMS teachers at City Montessori
School, Gomti Nagar Extension auditorium here today. Chief Guest, Dr Vikram
Singh, IPS, Former DG Police, UP and Chancellor of Noida International
University lit the lamp of Learning to give an auspicious start to the function
while Mr Neeraj Singh, Chairman, FICCI Leaders Forum graced the occasion as the
Special Guest of Honour. The special attraction of the programme was the
honouring of 9 CMS students who had successfully cleared the IAS Examination,
National Labour Services Exam and Indian Statistical Services Exam conducted by
the UPSC alongwith their mother and father at a traditional CMS honouring
ceremony. This
year's Civil Services topper, Aditya Srivastava's parents were
especially felicitated by weighing his mother in fruits and flowers. Other six
IAS selectees, Jahnvi Dwivedi, Kunal Rastogi, Mrinal Kumar, Samyak
Chaudhary, Shivansh Asthana and Abhyudai Pratap were also felicitated
alongwith their parents for securing high ranks in the Civil Services exams and
bringing laurels to their alma mater. Agrima Rastogi who secured 4th All
India Rank in the Indian Statistical Services and Prakhar Singh who
secured 10th position in the National Labour Services were also felicitated on
this occasion.
Addressing the
audience, Chief Guest Dr Vikram Singh contended that the benign presence and blessings of the
Late CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi was being felt strongly here on this
occasion. We must all try to live up to the high standards of education set by
him and follow his ideals of world unity and world peace. Special guest of
Honour, Mr Neeraj Singh, Chairman, FICCI Leaders Forum said in his address that
it was due to the hard work and relentless toil of CMS teachers that the
students were conquering great heights and leaving their footprints from
Sea-Link to the Silicon Valley.CMS Founder-Director and eminent educationist
Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager, and Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon thanked the
dedicated CMS teachers wholeheartedly. On this occasion, CMS teachers
presented educational cultural items leaving the spectators spellbound with
their mesmerizing performances. A grand exhibition of posters and paintings
based upon the life and teachings of the Late Dr Jagdish Gandhi was put up
bringing back memories of the great leader and educational Guru.
This morning at 7.00 am, a huge
Character Building March was taken out by the worthy CMS teachers from
Maqdoompur Police Station to CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. The March,
led by the CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta
Gandhi Kingdon, inspired the students and teachers to rise high in life by
following the path of virtue and good values in life and building a strong and
sturdy character and serving humanity.
