CMS accords warm welcome to educationists from eight countries of the world


 

Lucknow, May 1 : On the invitation of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, a 16 member delegation comprising the delegates from Taiwan, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Philippines and South Africa, arrived here in Lucknow to receive a very warm welcome here. The delegates were received by the teachers and staff of CMS in the leadership of CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant. The 16 member delegation, led by Prof. Wen Hsien Sun, aims at making necessary plans and preparations for the International Mathematics Olympiad. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I will be hosting the India International Mathematics Competition from 25th July to 1st August 2024, in which students from various countries will be participating.

            Mr Sharma further stated that during this educational visit, the educationists from various countries will gain valuable experience of CMS International Olympiads and Competitions and create a format to organize the forthcoming international event so that the students participating in the Olympiad may compete on a level playing field and a road map for teaching mathematics at international level may also be prepared by the esteemed educationists.  Also, the students will be able to update themselves with the latest innovations in mathematics by successfully interacting with the educational experts of various countries. It will also lead to the spread of feelings of World Unity and World Peace by the rich exchange of knowledge and ideas.
