Mahabodhi Society of India awards 'Lifetime Membership' to Dr Bharti Gandhi

Lucknow, May 23 : Founder-Director of City Montessori School and renowned educationist Dr. Bharti Gandhi was conferred the 'Lifetime Membership' by the Mahabodhi Society of India on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima today. In the prayer meeting organized by Mahabodhi Society at the local Risaldas Park, CMS Founders Dr. Bharti Gandhi and Late Dr. Jagdish Gandhi's efforts for world unity, world peace, equality of all religions and creating a bright future for children were appreciated. On this occasion, Dr. Mahendra Singh, President of Mahabodhi Society of India, while awarding 'Lifetime Membership' to Dr Bharti Gandhi, said  that CMS has made a significant contribution in propagating the teachings of Lord Buddha. Besides eminent personalities of Buddhist community, eminent social worker Shri Muralidhar Ahuja, General Secretary of UP Zila Manyata Prapt Patrakar Association, Shri Abdul Waheed and a large number of enlightened citizens of Lucknow were present on the occasion.

            It is worth mentioning here that under the guidance of Dr. Bharti Gandhi, City Montessori School is fulfilling the duty of providing a holistic education in the true sense to the future generation by incorporating the ideals of human welfare, universal brotherhood and devotion to God. The ideology of ‘Jai Jagat’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is reflected in the CMS education. It is because of this fact that after 65 years of continuous efforts since its establishment, CMS  has become the harbinger of world unity and world peace.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
