Students spirit soar high at International Childrens Film Festival showing films from 104 countries

Lucknow, April 14 : Faces of thousands of children bloomed in happiness at the
12th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF-2023) ongoing at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium  telling its own story of success. Today, on the 5th day of Children's Film Festival, approximately twelve thousand students enjoyed these motivational children's films and were much inspired by the values they taught. On this occasion, the presence of Senior Journalist Shri K K Srivastava, Casting Director, Mr Sunny Raj Kapoor and Singer Mr Hitendra Kumar added a special lustre to the whole show. Earlier, a day before, senior journalist Mr. Ashish Singh had boosted the morale of the children. The 5th day of ICFF-2023 began with the lamp lighting ceremony and educational-cultural presentations by CMS students.

            The fifth day's fest today opened with children's film of Mexico 'Opossum' directed by Mario Alberto Galván. Besides, children enjoyed various educational children's films from India and abroad including Greetings to Mother, Magic Dog, The Little Entrepreneur, The ant March, The World is Wonderful, Mera Jeevan Kavya, Power of Unity, Princess Toya, A Sweet Sound From The Sea, Where do you find God, The Last Whales, A Zoo With No Lion, Desert Lights, The Song of Flying Leaves, Guldasta, Sound of Nature, Let's talk about it, Lucia in the Night, Hum Kar Sakte Hain, Astha Ka Aadhar Hamara Parivar, Living with the Coronavirus, Roshni, The Dream of a Horse, The Hot Stone, Animals Talk Too, India Shining, 10 Cool Keys, The Diary etc. Films of various languages are being screened with English and Hindi sub titles to make them being understood.

            At a press conference held today at CMS Kanpur Road, Casting Director, Mr Sunny Raj Kapoor and Mr Hitendra Kumar met the press personnel. Talking to journalists, Mr Sunny Raj Kapoor said that this children's film festival of CMS is really unique. He was pleased that various educative films of various countries are shown here that are instilling positive energy. Mr Hitendra Kumar opined that good films generate noble and encouraging thoughts because educative and inspiring films cast everlasting impression on children's mind. Chairman of Film Festival, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said on this occasion that this film festival has aroused the awareness among the people that we should prevent the younger generation from falling a prey to evil ideas and take them towards the path of righteousness.
