Grand inauguration of Cambridge Section at CMS Aliganj

Lucknow, April 3 : City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I opened its gates to a New Cambridge Section on its premises. A grand inauguration was held today with the CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi cutting the ribbon to do the honours. With the inaugural ceremony, studies have begun with great zeal as per the Cambridge syllabus and guidelines. CMS Aliganj Campus I is the third CMS campus where the Cambridge curriculum has been introduced. CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II and CMS Rajajipuram Campus I are already running Cambridge classes which are very popular among the parents and students. At the inaugural ceremony of Cambridge Section at CMS Aliganj Campus I, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi; CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon along with the principals of various CMS campuses graced the occasion with their benign presence. On this momentous occasion, the students and parents were acquainted with the new curriculum to be followed as per the Cambridge educational policy.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that under the Cambridge Section running in all three CMS campuses, students aged 5 to 19 years are being provided education in a creative and positive educational environment with an excellent education system, in which classes are conducted for Cambridge Primary (Class 1 to 5) for students of 5 to 11 years, Cambridge Lower Secondary (Classes 6 to 8) for 11 to 14-year-olds, Cambridge Upper Secondary (Class 9 and 10) for 14 to 16-year-olds and Cambridge Advanced (Class 11 and 12) for 16 to 19-year-olds. Mr Sharma further stated that CMS Cambridge Section is affiliated with the Cambridge International Assessment Education (CAIE) Exam Board, which is recognized as a passport to growth and success at the international level. Presently, students from 160 countries across the world study according to the Cambridge curriculum, which further facilitates them to get admission to the best universities across the globe. The Cambridge Board aims to groom its affiliated schools and teachers to make their students confident, responsible, thoughtful, creative, and conscientious.
