CMS Jopling Road Campus organizes 'Divine Education Conference'


 

Lucknow, April 1: 'Divine Education Conference' of City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus was held today at CMS Gomti Nagar auditorium. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. He awarded prizes to the meritorious students of school, who had performed brilliantly in the Annual Examinations as well as other competitive examinations and extra-curricular activities. Addressing the large gathering of parents on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that children are not here just to fulfill their own aims but for the fulfillment of a greater purpose in life. They are born to play important roles in life as obedient sons of Almighty God and serve the world, therefore, the divine virtues like honesty, non-violence, justice and cooperation etc. should be instilled in children from the beginning.

            At the Divine Education Conference, the students presented devotional songs and dance performances, mesmerizing the audience and thus showcased their talents through cultural items based on values, global thinking, service to humanity and excellence in everything. Besides, several meaning items like World Parliament, All Religion Prayer, World Unity Prayer along with colours of folk songs and dances won the hearts of the eager audience.

            Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs Shipra Upadhyay said that CMS has taken upon itself, the responsibility to develop its students as 'Total Quality Persons' but it is only feasible with the help and cooperation of parents. She thanked the parents and guardians for coming to the function and encouraging the students.
