CMS students win Gold in Taekwondo

Lucknow, February 21 : The talented students of City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus II, Mukund Singh and Aditi Singh, have brought glory to the institution by winning two gold medals in the Open Taekwondo National Championship. The championship was organized under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Association at Chowk Stadium, Lucknow. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna informed that several students from prestigious schools across Lucknow participated in this Taekwondo Championship. However, amidst tough competition, these talented CMS students showcased their sporting skills, agility, expertise, and strength to secure gold medals. Their outstanding performance has signaled their potential to make a mark at national and international levels in the future. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, extended her best wishes for the bright future of these young athletes.

Mr Khanna informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
