CMS student wins Gold in Taekwondo

Lucknow, February 7 :Pragya Singh, a Class 8 student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, has brought laurels to the school by winning a gold medal at the state-level UP Cup Taekwondo Championship. The championship was jointly organized by the UP Taekwondo Association and Taekwondo Federation of India at the Chowk Stadium, Lucknow. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS.  Mr. Khanna informed that several students from reputed schools in Lucknow participated in this championship. Amid tough competition, this talented CMS student showcased her sportsmanship, agility, skill, and strength to claim the gold medal, raising the flag of her success. Her victory hints at a promising future at national and international levels. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, extended her best wishes for this young athlete’s bright future.Mr Khanna informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
