CMS students grab 10 medals including 4 Gold in Karate Championship
Lucknow, February 15. : The talented students of City
Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus, have brought honour to the institution by
winning a total of 10 medals including 4 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze at the
4th World Modern Shotokan Karate Cup-2025. The championship was organized under
the joint aegis of the World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation and the World
Modern Shotokan Karate Federation, Uttar Pradesh. This information was given by
Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. He informed that the gold
medalists from CMS are Arhan Hussain, Yahya Suboor, Haroon, and Uzair Shaikh.
Additionally, Minhal Haider, Ali Kaiser, Syed Ibrahim, Mohsin Khan, and Syed
Aiza secured silver medals, while Kumail Hussain won a bronze medal. Mr. Khanna
further stated that the championship witnessed the participation of selected
student-athletes from various prestigious schools, all showcasing their
exceptional karate skills. Despite the tough competition, the talented CMS
students displayed remarkable agility, skill, and strength, securing 10 medals,
including 4 golds, and reinforcing their potential to achieve success at both
national and international levels. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon,
congratulated the young karate champions and wished them a bright future.
Mr.
Khanna emphasized that CMS students excel not only in academics but also in
sports and various social domains. CMS is committed to ensuring the holistic
development of its students, actively preparing them for success in sports and
other fields alongside their intellectual growth.
