Children should be nurtured with character building virtues — Mr Avanish Kumar Singh, Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies and Chits,


 

Lucknow, February 22 : City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I organized its 'Divine Education Conference' with great joy and enthusiasm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium here today. Chief Guest, Mr Avanish Kumar Singh, Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies and Chits, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr Avanish Kumar Singh called upon the parents and teachers to join hands and inculcate character building virtues in the younger generation. He further stated that our rich cultural heritage believes in the ideal of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and we must imbue the seeds of this concept in the young minds of our children. CMS Founder-Director and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that education must sometimes become an agent of profound social transformation. Meaningful education provides a direction to the younger generation so that they can become leaders in society and contribute effectively for a higher and nobler civilization.

            On this occasion, the students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I presented several educational-cultural items like songs, skits, dances, rhymes, etc. keeping the audience glued to their seats. Parents profusely praised the students and appreciated the efforts of CMS for encouraging the all round development of children.  The meritorious students from Pre-Primary to Class II were honoured and awarded prizes for having topped in their classes in the Annual Examination and also those who had brought name and fame to the school by winning prizes in various competitive events, cultural activities and sports etc. Senior Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan while expressing gratitude towards the parents said that a modern school carries an important social responsibility on its shoulders. CMS ensures that its students receive material, human and divine education and become persons of good character and sublime disposition.
