Rudresh of CMS notches First Rank globally in International Mathematics Competition

Lucknow, June 19: Rudresh Patel, a meritorious student of Class IV at City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II has secured marks in the 100th percentile, notching first rank globally in Mathematics in International Benchmark Test (IBT), thus bringing honour to the city. The international level competition was organized by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). This information was given by Mr Rishi Khanna, Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Khanna informed that thousands of students from schools of several countries appeared for the International Benchmark Test, wherein this talented student of CMS Aliganj Campus II secured marks in the 100th percentile amidst tough competition, bringing laurals to the city. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon heartily congratulated Rudresh for his brilliant performance and mathematical ability and wished him a very bright future ahead.

        Mr Khanna further informed that the International Benchmark Test (IBT) is an internationally administered programme of assessments to compare student performance globally. The IBT tests are skill-based and they do not follow any single national curriculum allowing students from all countries to be compared fairly. CMS is constantly engaged in enhancing students' self-confidence and developing their overall personality by encouraging them to participate in various competitions. It is due to these efforts that CMS students keep bringing laurels to the school at national as well as international levels.
