Arnav wins a gold in state level Abacus competition

Lucknow, 8 January : Arnav, a  brilliant student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought laurels to the institution by winning a gold medal in state level abacus competition. The competition was held under the Brainobrain Fest organized by an educational institute Brainobrain. This information was given by Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma stated that students from top public schools participated in this competition to showcase their mathematical skills. Amidst tough competition, this brilliant student of CMS Aliganj Campus II used various abacus tricks to solve difficult mathematical problems, winning the gold medal. The organizers lauded his abacus skills and rewarded him with a certificate and gold medal. CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has wished him a very bright future ahead.

            Mr Sharma said that CMS students are earning name and fame not only at the national but also at international levels in different fields of knowledge. CMS encourages its pupils to make their mark in various activities apart from the regular prescribed subjects, leading to their all-round personality development. It is for this reason that the students are bringing laurels in creative fields, fine arts, music, social service, debates etc.
