Students of India and abroad indulge in meaningful discussion on changing environment

Lucknow, December 17 : The third day of the 5-day International Geography Olympiad 'Geofest International-2021' organized online by City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus and Rajajipuram Campus II was very interesting. Participating students from Russia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Ireland, Switzerland and various states of India not only displayed their knowledge and skills through very interesting competitions, but through their participation in these competitions they also depicted the beauty of the earth.

            Geo Expressions (Story Telling)' was the most attractive contest of the day. In this competition, the participating students, using self-made puppets, brought alive interesting stories. The competition, based on the theme 'Nature's Narrative from the Cultural Cauldron', gave a message of environmental awareness besides providing a lot of healthy entertainment to the audience. In this competition, the creative skills, global outlook and artistic talent of the participating students of the country and abroad were worth watching. Geotaste competition was also held today. In this competition based on Fireless Cooking, the participating students made the concept of 'Love Your Food - Waste Less, Save More,' a reality with their skills. Earlier, the participants of Geo Rhapsody (Group Vocal) and Jio Ads (Advertising Competition) also showcased their knowledge and skills. Apart from these, under the Geo Dialogue (discussion-discussion), students of India and abroad had a serious and meaningful discussion and deliberation on climate change and changing environment and expressed what kind of safe environment the present and future generations want  and what needs to be done for making life on earth safe and prosperous.
