Blessing the students to make the world a better place, the CMS
Founder, renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that we should
resolve our mutual differences and work together to serve mankind and raise the
fortunes of the world by active social service. Today it is extremely important
to accept the challenges offered by modern lifestyles and evolve new
technologies that would save the world from an ecological disaster. Man must
live in harmony with nature or the consequences will be terrible and
uncontrollable. CMS President and Managing Director, Professor Geeta Gandhi
Kingdon, also expressed her concern for the environment and thanked the
organizing Principals Ms Manjit Batra and Mrs Sangeeta Bannerji for
taking the initiative to put up this grand three day festival and motivate the
students to work for the environment.
CMS Chief Public Relations Officer,
Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the finals of the Environment Quiz were held
this morning to round off the series of exciting competitions. Students showed great awareness and class
answering the questions in the quiz with great rapidity and alertness. Their
eagerness and enthusiasm overshadowed the gloominess of the degrading
environment and put forth a ray of sunshine for the future generation in
dealing with this problem. Mr Sharma said that though the Olympiad had ended
today, the fire of commitment lit in the hearts of the students will continue
to shine and enlighten others. We must not give up our battle with the vagaries
of nature and manmade causes of natural environmental degradation.
