Lucknow, July 20 : A five member delegation of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II will be leaving for Spain shortly to participate in the International CISV Youth Meeting. This 15-day long international meeting is scheduled to be held from 25 July to 8 August in Santander, Spain, in which students' delegations of various countries are participating along with their team leaders. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that the student members of the delegation to Spain are Ojas Prajapati, Abdullah Khan, Avani Gupta and Aisha Zahra. Mr Arun Sharma, teacher of CMS Aliganj Campus II is leader of the delegation. Mr Sharma added that this international meeting is being organized by the Children's Summer Village Camp (CISV), England. Lucknow, July 20 : Two day Inter-Campus Chess Tournament organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I came to a grand conclusion here today. Hosts CMS Rajendra Nagar, won the Overall Championship securing the maximum number of 13 points. Today, on the second and concluding day of Chaturanga-2023, the semi-final and final matches were held for all three categories. In the primary boys’ category, Jagnoor Singh of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I won the first prize while in the primary girls’ category, Raj Shikha Yadav of the same campus won the first prize.   Lucknow, July 16: Vinamra Mehrotra, a student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I scored 799.64 marks out of 800 in Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to emerge as the city topper. Talking about his preparation, Vinamra says, ‘self-preparation and attempting mock tests helped me to achieve my target. I put in 4-5 hours of study every day to prepare for the CUET’. Vinamra scored full marks in English, Physical Education, Political Science and Psychology and has plans to major in Economics and Political Science from St. Stephens College. He gives credit of his success to his parents and teachers at school who motivated him from time to time to put in his best.
