CMS students proclaim 'Family Unity' on St. Valentine's Martyr Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 62,000 students of City Montessori School celebrated the 'Family Unity Day' to commemorate the Martyr's Day of St. Valentine, spreading the message of family unity far and wide. The students of all 21 CMS campuses were kept engaged in various activities through which they highlighted the significance of a united family. At an event in this series held at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II, CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that the unity in the society, and the world can only be actualized if the families live in solidarity. A family is the smallest unit in the world and the basis for unity in society, country and the world. Dr Gandhi further said that we need to motivate the younger generation to understand the importance of family unity. She urged the teachers and parents to show the path of morality and good character to students, thus promoting unity, and peace in the world.

            Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS stated that students in all 21 campuses of CMS expressed their views at the prayer assemblies on family unity and presented songs and dances on family unity and moral values. For the past several years, City Montessori School has been observing 'Family Unity Day' on Valentine's Day and inspiring the society for the same, said Mr Sharma. He further stated that for the last 65 years, CMS has been imparting quality education to children, full of divine love and the great ideal of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (the world is but one family) embedded in Indian culture.
