CMS student clinches silver and bronze medals at International Karate Championship


 

Lucknow, February 7:  Abdullah Khan, a student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, clinched a silver and a bronze medal at the International Karate Championship, earning kudos for the school. The championship was organized by the Shito-Ryu Karate School of India at the Hotel Radisson in Delhi-NCR for young karate practitioners to showcase their talents. The student of CMS, Abdullah won a silver medal in the below brown belt category and a bronze medal in the brown-black belt category. This information has come from the Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Abdullah’s defensive and offensive techniques and appropriate use of punches, kicks and takedowns against his opponents show his ability to emerge as a national and international player in future, stated Mr Sharma. CMS President and Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, extended her best wishes for all his future endeavours.

             Mr Sharma further said that CMS students are leaving their footprints on the sands of time in academics, sports, games and other fields, apart from elevating the school’s name high nationally and internationally, as CMS makes their holistic development.
