CMS girl bags Bronze medal in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 19 February : Aarna Kumari, a student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I and a skilled taekwondoin, brought laurels to her school by winning a Bronze Medal in the 35 kg weight category at Maharana Pratap National Open Taekwondo Championship held at Sawai Mansing Indoor Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan. This championship was organized by the Rajasthan Taekwondo Association under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India, in which selected taekwondoin from across the country participated. CMS President and Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, expressed happiness on this achievement of Aarna and wished her a bright future. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that Aarna displayed tremendous potential in martial arts and earned a Bronze Medal, proving her ability, stamina and skill. Mr Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their presence felt in sports, music, dance, and various other fields because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
