CMS awarded maximum number of 10 prizes at Beating the Retreat Ceremony

Lucknow, 29 January : City Montessori School has been awarded the maximum number of ten prizes at 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony organized here this evening at Police Lines, Lucknow. The Governor of UP, Hon'ble Smt. Anandiben Patel awarded the 'Chal Vaijayanti' to City Montessori School for its Republic Day Tableau based on the theme 'Sarva-Dharma Sambhav' (respect for all religions) and titled 'Ishwar, Allah, Wahe Guru, Chahe kaho Sri Ram, Malik Sabka Ek Hai, Alag-Alag Hain Naam' (God is One, despite different names). CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi received the trophy. Apart from it, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I proudly received the first prize for the Boys' Flag March, on the other hand, CMS Rajajipuram Campus I received the first prize for the dance item 'Swarnim Bharat'. Similarly, CMS Mahanagar Campus received the second prize for the dance item 'Naya Samarth Bharat'; CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I received the second prize for 'Tiranga Lahrayenge Hum' drill; CMS Kanpur Road Campus got the second prize for the Brass Band presentation; CMS Kanpur Road Campus again received the second prize for its Pipe Band presentation; CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II got the third prize for Best School Parade (girls); CMS Chowk Campus got the third prize for 'Bharat Ki Shaan Tiranga' drill and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I was awarded third prize for Bag Pipe Band presentation.

            After the 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated all the Principals, students and teachers for this marvellous achievement and said that CMS aims to uplift the moral character and spirituality of the future generation and make them ideal citizens of the society, the glimpse of which was seen in the Republic Day Parade.
