CMS students win 11 Gold Medals in Taekwondo Championship

20 October : Talented students of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus brought
laurels to the institution by bagging the Overall Championship in Boys category
in National Taekwondo Championship. They also showcased their exemplary sports
skills by winning 11 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal. CMS
Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed happiness on this achievement of CMS
students and wished them a bright future ahead. This information has come from
Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr
Sharma informed that the championship was organized at the Chowk Stadium,
Lucknow. In this championship, students of CMS Chowk Campus namely Fahmeena
Afreen, Shubhi Verma, Divyanshi Kumar, Navita Bharti, Afreen Khan, Abdul Malik
Khan, Hamza Siddiqui, Fatima Siddiqui, Arjun Singh, Syed Wajih Haider and Vanya
Rastogi won gold medals while Harshita Yadav, Dakshija Singh,Vidit Gupta and
Rhythm won silver medals and Suchaye won the Bronze medal. Selected students
from various schools participated in this Championship, wherein, amidst tough
competition, these CMS students displayed tremendous stamina and skills and
earned maximum medals.
Mr Sharma informed that
excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also
making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance,
and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic
education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
