Five CMS students secure top rank globally in International Mathematics Competition

Lucknow, July 23 : Five meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus have secured marks in the 100th percentile in International Mathematics Competition bringing fame to the city on international arena. These talented students are Avirat Agarwal, Shreya Singh, Jai Verma, Mansha Vijh and Prakhar Varshneya. The competition was organized as a part of the International Benchmark Test (IBT). This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. He added that IBT is organized by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) once a year in many countries. Thousands of students from several noted schools of India sat in the IBT test wherein these talented students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I secured marks in the 100th percentile in International Mathematics Competition amidst a tough competition. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish  Gandhi congratulated  these brilliant students for their outstanding success and wished them a very bright future.

        Mr Sharma informed that the International Benchmark Test (IBT) is an internationally administered programme of assessments to compare student performance globally. The IBT tests are skill-based and they do not follow any single national curriculum allowing students from all countries to be compared fairly. CMS is constantly engaged in enhancing students' self-confidence and developing their overall personality by encouraging them to participate in various competitions. It is due to these efforts that CMS students keep bringing laurels to the school at national as well as international levels.
