CMS teacher tops in Mathematics Teaching Olympiad


 

Lucknow, July 9: Ms Saumya Tripathi, a teacher of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, has topped in the CENTA Teaching Professionals Olympiad with her teaching acumen and professional skills. She has secured 1st rank nationally in her subject track Middle school Mathematics. She has secured hundred percent marks in the topic of remedial measures and holistic development of the child. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi while wholeheartedly praising the talents and professional skills of Ms Saumya, wished her very bright future ahead. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.  Ms Saumya has been rewarded attractive prizes for her outstanding achievement including cash prize and training at abroad, he added. Mr Sharma informed that almost seven lakhs teachers from 68 countries participated in this prestigious Olympiad, wherein CMS teacher has 1st rank nationally with her outstanding performance. He added that CENTA Teaching Professional Olympiad is a substantiation for teaching excellence in which teachers from  across the globe compete.

            Mr Sharma further informed that the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) organizes Teaching Professionals Olympiad (TPO) every year with the aim to encourage teachers to develop their skills and talents. At this unique contest, the teachers are selected on the basis of their proficiency in subjects, experience, and high academic standards. Thus, the acumen of teachers is assessed and developed accordingly to channelize it for extra-curricular activities and thus improve their efficiency manifold.
