The best time to lay the foundation of values and character is childhood — Dr Jagdish Gandhi, CMS Founder, and renowned educationist

Lucknow, March 11 : City Montessori School, Gomtinagar campus I organized its ‘Divine Education Conference’ in the CMS Gomtinagar Extension auditorium today. Addressing the audience on this occasion, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the best time to develop values and character in children is their childhood and therefore, a strong foundation must be laid in childhood itself. This is why CMS teachers are working tirelessly in developing values and good thoughts in children from their pre-primary years. Dr Gandhi called upon the parents to provide a spiritual and divine environment to the children even at home, only then both the home and the school together would be able to fulfill the responsibility of making the future generation the light of the society.

Earlier, the ‘Divine Education Conference’ commenced with the customary school prayer, all religion prayer, and lighting of the lamp. On this occasion, the students enthralled the audience with their soulful rendition of devotional music and songs in praise of the Almighty. The students not only displayed their versatile talents but also gave a glimpse of the moral and spiritual education and values being imparted in the school. The students surprised the parents by expressing their views on values of life, global thinking, service to the world, and excellence in all subjects. The students who excelled in various competitions were specially felicitated and awarded during the conference.

Principal of CMS Gomtinagar, Mrs Abha Anant delivered a vote of thanks to all the eminent guests and parents for the successful conduct of the conference and said that CMS is committed to making its students a total quality person through their all-round development.
