CMS teacher honoured with national level Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar


 

Lucknow, March 20 : Dr (Mrs) Shiksha Tripathi, a senior teacher of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been awarded 'Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar' at national level by the Centre for Environment Education (CEE). Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that CMS fraternity is extremely proud of the achievement of its teacher. Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar is awarded for exemplary leadership of teachers in encouraging young generation to conserve environment. Dr Tripathi has been instrumental in motivating students to conserve environment. CMS Kanpur Road Campus has done a very commendable work on 'Sustainability and Biodiversity' under her guidance and spread the message of 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle'.

               Mr Sharma informed that CMS has always pioneered in social awareness programmes. CMS believes that a positive and constructive information in the minds of people for conserving water, energy and environment is much needed. These efforts of CMS teachers encourage students to participate in environment conservation and social awareness drives. Therefore, CMS students and teachers are successful in spreading message in the society that natural resources must be consumed judiciously and with conscience.
